We had coordinated a specific spot for the big question, but when they arrived at the top of the hill, the adrenaline hit Nick hard. The nerves got to him (which is honestly so sweet), and he started moving toward a slightly different area.
As a candid Barcelona photographer, you have to be ready for anything. When I realized the plan was changing, it became a thrilling scramble! Everyone—myself included—had to practically run to get into position to catch the big moment.
And it was perfect. We found the angles just in time to capture the shock, the tears, and the overwhelming joy. It wasn't a stiff, staged moment; it was messy, real, and absolutely beautiful. The emotion was so high, we didn't need to direct a thing—we just let the "sweet and tender" vibe unfold naturally.
