It was on one of these perfect spring mornings that I had the absolute honor of capturing Daniela and Ersan’s 10-year anniversary celebration!

The Story: From the USA to a New Life in Barcelona

Daniela and Ersan’s love story is the kind that gives you butterflies. These two originally met in the USA, but after the pandemic, they decided it was time for a major life change. They packed up, crossed the ocean, and chose to start a brand new chapter together right here in Barcelona.

Celebrating a whole decade of love is a massive milestone, and Daniela wanted to capture it in a way that felt authentic to their new everyday lives. Instead of heading to the busiest tourist hotspots, she suggested a location right near their new home in the Sarrià neighborhood. I was so incredibly thrilled when she introduced me to this magical little oasis!

Whenever I step behind the camera, my biggest goal is to make sure you feel entirely like yourselves. It is so normal to feel a little nervous before a shoot—especially if you've never had professional photos taken!

Let’s talk about this stunning location! The Jardins de Julio Muñoz Ramonet is one of Barcelona’s best-kept secrets. Tucked away in the elegant Sant Gervasi-Galvany/Sarrià area, this garden is a slice of pure tranquility.

• A Hidden Masterpiece: Originally designed in the early 20th century by the famous landscape architect Jean-Claude Nicolas Forestier (the same genius behind the gardens of Montjuïc!), this estate features classical ponds, gorgeous pergolas, and lush botanical beauty.
• Quiet & Intimate: Because it’s outside the main tourist center, it is mostly enjoyed by locals reading books on benches or taking quiet morning strolls.
